Jay Park, Dermatologist and Mohs Micrographic Surgeon in Eugene, Oregon Dr. Park is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in Mohs surgery and cutaneous oncology, his office is located in Eugene, Oregon's Chase Garden Medical Center. He grew up in the San Francisco Bay area, arriving in Eugene in 1998, after being sought out and recruited by PeaceHealth for his services in the consultation and treatment of skin cancer. While at PeaceHealth, he practiced general dermatology and Mohs surgery for 12 years before finally opening his own practice in 2009.

In 2014 due to the significant medical needs of skin cancer patients in the community, he made the difficult decision to give up his general dermatology practice and devote his practice full time to Mohs Micrographic Surgery and cutaneous oncology.

Dr. Park is a fellowship trained surgeon who has the experience and expertise that is necessary to produce optimal outcomes in skin cancer treatment with a procedure known as Mohs Micrographic Surgery. Mohs Mircographic Surgery offers the highest potential cure rate for skin cancer up to 99%.

Being fellowship trained means that he has taken an intensive specialized course of training, after his medical residency, under the tutelage of one or more ACMS (American College of Mohs Surgery) surgeons. To become a member of the ACMS, a surgeon must have completed at least 500 cases of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and reconstruction.
